Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and prepare complex transaction documents for structured finance deals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage transaction lifecycles, including tracking deadlines, organizing communications, and maintaining documentation.
- Review and file UCC financing statements, analyze lien searches, and collaborate with external vendors.
- Prepare and distribute signature pages, compile finalized documents, and create comprehensive closing binders.
- Utilize legal and transactional software tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure effective transactional support and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to meeting billable hour targets while maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Handle additional assignments as required, including potential overtime and travel commitments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience, with 10 years preferred, in structured finance or related areas.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, iManage, LexisNexis/Westlaw, and transactional software tools.
- Advanced knowledge of transactional lifecycles and structured finance procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex transactional processes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as required by the role.
- Experience with timekeeping and expense reporting applications is advantageous.
