Overview

  • Lead financial operations for real estate and private equity funds in a hybrid work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund transactions and oversee monthly and quarterly financial closings.
  • Prepare and review regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate payments and funding activities with the Treasury department.
  • Analyze fund cash balances to optimize investment and expense strategies.
  • Support audit processes by collaborating with external auditors and reviewing financial statements.
  • Manage fund capital calls, distributions, and reconcile cash balances effectively.
  • Document procedures and contribute to the development of robust internal controls.
  • Utilize advanced software tools to enhance reporting and operational accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Geneva, or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing complex tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating financial concepts to diverse audiences.
