Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting services for private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds.
  • Provide comprehensive financial statement preparation and transaction processing.
  • Supervise client engagement teams and ensure deliverable accuracy.
  • Review fund governing documents and oversee compliance with reporting standards.
  • Coordinate with third-party relationships, including audit and tax teams.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Support organizational audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Engage in business development activities and special projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and operations for client engagements.
  • Supervise client engagement teams and ensure scope of work completion.
  • Review financial statements, workpapers, and waterfall calculations for accuracy.
  • Oversee capital call and distribution allocation calculations.
  • Coordinate with audit, tax, and legal teams for seamless operations.
  • Train and guide team members, ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
  • Assist with new fund transitions and setup processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party entities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 15+ years of experience in fund administration and financial services.
  • Proficiency in private equity and venture capital fund reporting standards.
  • Experience with Investran accounting software preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client engagements and deliverables effectively.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
