Overview
- Oversee on-site construction activities for multifamily projects from groundbreaking to closeout.
- Ensure adherence to schedules, safety standards, and quality control protocols.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead daily field operations, including framing cycles and unit turnovers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports using construction management software.
- Collaborate with project management on scheduling, manpower planning, and issue resolution.
- Conduct inspections, punch lists, and turnover milestones efficiently.
- Drive project schedules while fostering a strong safety culture on-site.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage day-to-day construction activities for multifamily projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Enforce jobsite safety in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Oversee quality control to ensure work meets plans, specs, and local codes.
- Conduct daily huddles, subcontractor meetings, and site walks.
- Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover milestones efficiently.
- Collaborate with project management on scheduling, manpower planning, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation using construction management software.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience on large multifamily projects.
- Strong background in wood-frame construction, podium, and wrap-style buildings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and aggressive schedules.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive project success.
- Proficiency with construction technology, including Procore and scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, inspections, and construction sequencing.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work on-site and lead field operations effectively.
