Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate transaction kick-offs, preparing and distributing comprehensive deal playbooks to involved teams.
- Manage transaction closings, including checklist calls and organizing internal teams for effective collaboration.
- Establish and maintain deal rooms, consolidating legal due diligence and essential documentation.
- Order and review third-party reports, such as title, survey, and environmental assessments, ensuring compliance.
- Oversee legal billing processes, tracking costs for internal and external counsel efficiently.
- Coordinate post-closing document management and distribute finalized transaction information to stakeholders.
- Assist with loan asset management, including drafting legal documents and tracking compliance requirements.
- Support derivative management and bank account strategies, collaborating closely with treasury teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field such as finance or law.
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal or legal analyst experience; transaction paralegal experience preferred.
- Notary public certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional excellence.
