Job Description

Overview

  • Lead fund accounting and financial reporting for hedge and private equity fund vehicles.
  • Collaborate with third-party administrators to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Enhance processes and reporting systems for scalability and accuracy.
  • Support fund structuring, setup, and onboarding activities.
  • Monitor cash positions, liquidity, and reconciliations for fund operations.
  • Ensure compliance with fund documents and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Investor Relations and Legal.
  • Manage relationships with fund managers, custodians, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and implement processes for servicing hedge and private equity funds.
  • Oversee fund administrators and service providers, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, capital statements, and audited financials.
  • Define and maintain operating policies and procedures for fund operations.
  • Monitor fund cash reserves and manage subscription sizes to underlying funds.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to meet regulatory filing requirements.
  • Enhance automation of key processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as required by the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in fund structuring, NAV calculations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex financial data.
  • Experience with hedge and private equity fund operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory filings such as SEC and FINRA is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
