Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Analyze financial and market data to assess credit risks and investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain transaction-level financial models for underwriting and scenario analysis.
- Coordinate primary diligence efforts across financial, operational, and legal workstreams.
- Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and presentations for decision-making.
- Design scalable reporting and performance-monitoring frameworks for portfolio companies.
- Oversee post-closing portfolio monitoring, including financial and collateral metrics.
- Support special projects to standardize underwriting and portfolio-management processes.
- Leverage networks to source investment opportunities and deepen industry relationships.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in private credit, structured finance, or related fields.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction execution.
- Experience with asset-backed lending or structured credit is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and execution-driven in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with extensive borrower-level data and operational metrics.
