Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform suture removal and phlebotomy with precision and care.
  • Conduct EKGs and vaccinations as part of routine patient care.
  • Administer urine dip stick tests and ensure accurate results.
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information or assistance as needed.
  • Verify insurance details to facilitate smooth billing processes.
  • Maintain familiarity with medications and dosages to support medical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting is mandatory.
  • Certification in phlebotomy and familiarity with medical terminology are essential.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes is a plus.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Background checks are required for all candidates.
