Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes for a global workforce.
- Develop and implement payroll policies ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Perform month-end close tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams for seamless payroll integration.
- Manage payroll systems and tools to support organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings and audits.
- Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees professionally.
- Analyze payroll metrics to drive continuous process enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7-10 years of payroll experience, preferably in fintech or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of US payroll regulations; experience with Indian payroll is a plus.
- Proficiency in payroll software and ability to implement new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Certification such as CPP is preferred.
