Overview
- Serve as an Investment Specialist within the Intermediary Sales Department, driving mutual fund sales and fostering client relationships.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors to develop business plans and achieve corporate objectives.
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to influence Financial Advisor decisions and grow client portfolios.
- Engage in proactive outreach to assigned territories for prospecting and relationship development.
- Become a product specialist, articulating firm and product information effectively.
- Leverage CRM systems for research, activity logging, and competitive analysis.
- Participate in limited travel and attend relevant conferences.
- Work in a collaborative environment to support sales and client service goals.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and deepen relationships with Financial Advisors through consultative sales approaches.
- Partner with Regional Directors to manage territories and drive sales objectives.
- Conduct proactive telephone calls for prospecting and relationship building.
- Respond to inbound calls and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Articulate investment philosophies and product details to clients effectively.
- Utilize CRM systems for tracking activities and conducting competitive analysis.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Series 7 and 63 and/or 66 certifications are mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in high-volume settings.
