Overview
- Develop and implement a robust Business Intelligence system using Power BI to centralize data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Analyze sales forecasts, inventory movements, and financial performance to provide actionable insights.
- Streamline data sharing and reporting processes to enhance team collaboration and decision-making.
- Transform existing Excel-based systems into an integrated Power BI solution for improved efficiency.
- Ensure the BI system supports real-time data updates and comprehensive reporting capabilities.
- Maintain system scalability to accommodate future data and user growth.
- Provide training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
- Integrate data from Amazon, inventory systems, and buying team inputs into a unified BI platform.
- Monitor and optimize data ingestion processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine reporting requirements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Document system architecture and processes for future reference and maintenance.
- Support ongoing system enhancements and troubleshooting as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence development, preferably with Power BI.
- Proficiency in data integration, analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, sales forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with large-scale data systems and Excel-based workflows.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred 15 years of experience for advanced expertise in BI systems.
