Business Intelligence Developer

Overview

• Develop and implement a robust Business Intelligence system using Power BI to centralize data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Analyze sales forecasts, inventory movements, and financial performance to provide actionable insights.
• Streamline data sharing and reporting processes to enhance team collaboration and decision-making.
• Transform existing Excel-based systems into an integrated Power BI solution for improved efficiency.
• Ensure the BI system supports real-time data updates and comprehensive reporting capabilities.
• Maintain system scalability to accommodate future data and user growth.
• Provide training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
• Integrate data from Amazon, inventory systems, and buying team inputs into a unified BI platform.
• Monitor and optimize data ingestion processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine reporting requirements.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Document system architecture and processes for future reference and maintenance.
• Support ongoing system enhancements and troubleshooting as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence development, preferably with Power BI.
• Proficiency in data integration, analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, sales forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with large-scale data systems and Excel-based workflows.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred 15 years of experience for advanced expertise in BI systems.
