Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records and ledger integrity.
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in alignment with GAAP standards.
  • Analyze accounting data to generate insightful reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain organized financial records to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with departments like Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to enhance financial processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting workflows for increased efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • 1–4 years of accounting experience, with consumer goods industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is highly desirable.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site four days per week in a collaborative environment.
