Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct mandatory training courses, including CPR, SCIP-R, and orientation programs.
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction using diverse teaching methodologies.
- Develop and execute new training initiatives to address evolving organizational needs.
- Prepare and distribute training materials and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Schedule training sessions and manage facilities for effective program delivery.
- Leverage multimedia tools like presentations and videos to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve training outcomes.
- Adapt to flexible schedules, including travel and occasional evening sessions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Health, or Human Services is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training role; 3 years preferred.
- Certification in SCIP and CPR is mandatory; crisis management training is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English for effective bilingual training delivery.
- Knowledge of OPWDD and DDD regulations and DSP Code of Ethics.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying work schedules as needed.
