Job Description

Overview

  • Lead vendor management initiatives for human capital systems in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with technology and human capital teams to optimize processes.
  • Drive integration of AI and data-driven talent decision-making tools.
  • Manage contracts and vendor relationships to ensure scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to a collegial and engaging organizational culture.
  • Support the development of proprietary systems and third-party products.
  • Ensure compliance and efficiency in vendor management practices.
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on vendor collaborations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the full vendor management lifecycle for HC technology and services.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with major HC product vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Plan for contract renewals, disengagements, and vendor relationship escalations.
  • Identify efficiency gains and cost-saving opportunities for the department.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align vendor strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure successful collaboration across departments and external groups.
  • Monitor evolving technology needs and adapt vendor strategies accordingly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Proven leadership, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology and organizational needs.
  • Experience in human capital or financial services is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of HC technology systems and AI integration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with vendor management tools and practices.
