Financial Analyst

Overview

• Contribute to strategic and operational objectives through insightful financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to monitor financial performance and inform decisions.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations showcasing key performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, benchmarking, and profitability initiatives through data analysis and collaboration.
• Maintain data integrity and validate Power BI dashboards for accurate communication.
• Partner with various departments to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Assist in consolidating budget components and presenting them for leadership review.
• Engage in special projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and deliver financial presentations and reports highlighting trends and insights.
• Extract and analyze data from systems to fulfill requests from leadership and attorneys.
• Validate and maintain dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
• Collaborate with teams on data validation, analysis, and audit support.
• Develop and refine SSRS reports and streamline reporting libraries.
• Support budgeting processes through data input, validation, and presentation.
• Provide KPI insights and data for annual business plans.
• Assist with benchmarking, surveys, and financial submissions.
• Collaborate on special projects and management presentations with senior leaders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in financial analysis or data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with SSRS and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to manage and manipulate large, complex datasets effectively.
• Experience consolidating data into structured and visually compelling presentations.
• Familiarity with ERP/financial management systems like Elite 3E preferred.
• Background in a professional services or law firm environment strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
