Job Description

Overview

  • Prepare, submit, and track high-volume client invoices for diverse clients, including major financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
  • Maintain e-billing profiles and manage electronic billing platforms for seamless operations.
  • Perform reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
  • Support check processing and payment tracking as required.
  • Allocate time effectively between billing cycles and reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, review, and process client invoices for hundreds of clients.
  • Submit and monitor invoices through electronic billing platforms, resolving rejections promptly.
  • Manage e-billing profiles essential to firmwide billing operations.
  • Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Communicate with attorneys to resolve billing questions and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with a billing team supporting approximately 50–60 attorneys.
  • Allocate time effectively between billing cycles and follow-up activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; motivated entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
  • 1+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience preferred.
  • Experience with e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, TyMetrix, Serengeti, or DataCert is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes and multiple deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
