Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the Emergency Services department, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Monitor and manage department budget, staffing, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, maintaining accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to enhance service offerings and patient experience.
  • Promote interdisciplinary communication and coordination to optimize patient care outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in employee engagement, development, and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee clinical operations, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and standards of care.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving performance metrics and operational accomplishments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
  • Knowledge of emergency department operations and patient care coordination.
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and cost control strategies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
