Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative support for community-engaged learning programs, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics for courses and projects, including schedules, agreements, and tracking progress.
  • Assist in planning and executing events such as Urban Plunge, managing registrations and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records, contact lists, and calendars to support program efficiency.
  • Prepare program materials, including guides, presentations, and orientation resources.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, partners, and campus departments professionally and promptly.
  • Support purchasing and space reservations as needed for program activities.
  • Collaborate with faculty and community partners to ensure alignment and successful program execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate logistics for community-engaged learning courses and projects, ensuring seamless scheduling and tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with faculty and community partners to support program objectives.
  • Assist in planning and executing Urban Plunge events, managing registration and materials.
  • Maintain and update partner records, contact lists, and meeting notes for program activities.
  • Prepare and distribute program materials, including presentations and guides.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, partners, and campus departments, providing accurate information.
  • Support purchasing and space reservations for program-related needs.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure program success and alignment with goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for professional correspondence.
  • Experience in higher education, community engagement, or nonprofit settings preferred.
  • Event planning, volunteer coordination, or database management experience is advantageous.
  • Comfort working with diverse stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
