Job Description

Overview

  • Support residential mortgage lending operations as a Residential Loan Processor on a temporary contract basis.
  • Analyze and process residential loan applications ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process residential mortgage loan applications, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify and analyze loan application information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate loan approval.
  • Maintain detailed records of loan processing activities and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in loan applications promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers throughout the loan process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential mortgage lending; 5 years preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address loan processing challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to mortgage processing.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with borrowers and stakeholders.
