Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage private credit loan operations, ensuring seamless workflows and efficient processes.
  • Provide operational and technological support across diverse business units, including Middle Market Direct Lending and Private Equity.
  • Develop and maintain credit operations workflows, onboarding clients, and establishing standardized procedures.
  • Train and oversee staff on credit operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define middle office services and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in automation and process improvement projects related to credit operations and cash management.
  • Engage with client service support, fund accounting, technology, and sales teams to ensure integrated operations.
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment while expanding industry knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operational support for Private Credit clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee workflows for cash and position reconciliations, maintaining quality control and data oversight.
  • Support loan operations, trade settlements, and credit treasury workflows.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on credit operations practices.
  • Collaborate on defining middle office services and enhancing operational strategies.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to improve automation and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with loan administration practices and industry standards.
  • Maintain proficiency in tools such as Virtus and ClearPar for operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in investment management or financial services, focusing on loan operations.
  • Strong understanding of bank debt, fixed income securities, and fund structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and familiarity with Virtus and ClearPar.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver accurate results within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative in dynamic environments.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups.
