Enterprise Technology Engineer

Overview

• Contribute to the management and optimization of hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Support enterprise applications, including Omnissa Horizon, Citrix XenApp, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Automate system processes using scripting tools like PowerShell to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to design and implement enterprise solutions tailored to organizational needs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards within a regulated financial environment.
• Participate in rotational on-call support, addressing critical issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and maintain hybrid environments, including Windows Server infrastructure and Azure cloud services.
• Support enterprise applications such as Omnissa Horizon, Citrix XenApp, and Office 365 services.
• Develop and implement automated system management processes using scripting tools like PowerShell.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to design and test enterprise solutions.
• Assist in cloud adoption efforts, deploying and integrating cloud-based applications and platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing team capabilities.
• Maintain detailed documentation and release notes for system changes, adhering to change management processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering or cloud architecture roles.
• Proficiency in Omnissa Horizon and Citrix XenApp support and management.
• Expertise in scripting tools like PowerShell for system automation.
• Experience managing hybrid environments and supporting cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on customer service.
• Preferred certifications in Microsoft Azure, VMware, or Windows Administration.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a regulated financial environment.
