Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Handle complex investor allocations and manage fund structures effectively.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems, including Geneva, for streamlined operations.
- Support the Controller in financial analysis and reporting for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of fund transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance associates.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by optimizing fund management practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- 6-10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with public/private CPA experience.
- Proficiency in complex investor allocations and fund structures.
- Experience with Geneva accounting software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site 3-4 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
