Job Description

Overview

  • Lead commercial construction projects, including remodels, renovations, and ground-up builds, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee projects valued up to $7M from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Direct estimating, scheduling, and bid preparation efforts to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Support on-site superintendents to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with project schedules.
  • Track project progress, addressing risks, changes, and cost impacts proactively.
  • Maintain clear communication with all project partners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects across various locations nationwide.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and overall execution.
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead estimating, scheduling, and bid preparation efforts.
  • Direct and support on-site superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
  • Track project progress and proactively address risks, changes, and cost impacts.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience with remodels, renovations, and ground-up construction projects up to $7M.
  • Background in retail, banking, big box, or open-environment construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
