Overview
- The Facilities Associate ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained workplace environment.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks and support routine building maintenance.
- Respond to facility needs promptly to maintain functionality and safety.
- Handle seasonal tasks such as snow removal and outdoor area maintenance.
- Assist with furniture setup, event support, and operational requirements.
- Monitor facility conditions and report issues to management.
- Support a professional environment for employees and visitors.
- Work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Perform light building maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Monitor facility conditions and report issues to management.
- Handle seasonal tasks, including snow shoveling and walkway salting.
- Restock supplies and support general operational needs.
- Assist with furniture setup and event support when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with management to address facility concerns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or similar roles.
- Preferred 3 years of experience in facility management or maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and snow removal.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability for full-time onsite work during specified hours.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing.
