Job Description

Overview

  • The Facilities Associate ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained workplace environment.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks and support routine building maintenance.
  • Respond to facility needs promptly to maintain functionality and safety.
  • Handle seasonal tasks such as snow removal and outdoor area maintenance.
  • Assist with furniture setup, event support, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor facility conditions and report issues to management.
  • Support a professional environment for employees and visitors.
  • Work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Perform light building maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Monitor facility conditions and report issues to management.
  • Handle seasonal tasks, including snow shoveling and walkway salting.
  • Restock supplies and support general operational needs.
  • Assist with furniture setup and event support when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to address facility concerns.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or similar roles.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in facility management or maintenance.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and snow removal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability for full-time onsite work during specified hours.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing.
