Overview

  • Lead financial data integrity and reconciliation processes within a dynamic digital asset-focused organization.
  • Ensure accurate monthly reporting of digital asset balances and activities.
  • Utilize advanced tools for on-chain analysis and transaction verification.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of trade logs and sub-ledgers.
  • Verify transaction settlements using on-chain analysis tools.
  • Investigate discrepancies between internal data, custodian statements, and on-chain data.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close processes.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance and external audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data ingestion processes.
  • Monitor market trends and accounting standards for digital assets.
  • Enhance reconciliation tools and internal reporting systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in blockchain explorers and data tools like Dune Analytics or Chainalysis.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and data analytics tools.
  • Experience with institutional-grade accounting software such as Workday or NetSuite.
  • Understanding of Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols and smart contract interactions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
