Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the Imaging Services department, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop strategic plans aligning departmental goals with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee financial management, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Promote a culture of patient safety and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with medical staff and other departments.
  • Implement innovative technologies to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Support staff development and engagement for optimal performance.
  • Ensure seamless patient experiences through efficient workflows and communication.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and monitor strategic plans for Imaging Services, focusing on patient outcomes.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high clinical standards.
  • Oversee budget planning and financial performance monitoring.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians to optimize imaging protocols and patient management.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and integrate new imaging technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science (MS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in imaging services management, with 6 years preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
  • Expertise in financial management and budget planning.
  • Ability to implement process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
  • Experience in staff development and engagement strategies.
