Overview
- Provide specialized support for complex IP litigation cases, including ITC trials, ensuring seamless case management and document preparation.
- Coordinate trial logistics, including e-discovery, deposition materials, and document production, to facilitate successful proceedings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in litigation support.
- Conduct advanced legal research using industry-standard tools to support case strategies and arguments.
- Manage and maintain databases, case files, and documentation for intellectual property matters.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Contribute to organizational success by meeting billable hour targets and delivering cost-effective services.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare motions, trial binders, and other litigation documents with precision and compliance.
- Organize and review IP litigation materials, ensuring accuracy and jurisdictional compliance.
- Coordinate document productions and manage e-discovery databases for case materials.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including logistics and material compilation.
- Provide support during trials, hearings, and depositions, ensuring smooth proceedings.
- Conduct factual research and compile findings to support case arguments and strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance procedures and communication channels.
- Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by attorneys and management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Minimum 7 years of specialized IP litigation experience, including ITC trial support.
- Advanced proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expert knowledge of IP litigation procedures, jurisdictional requirements, and agency processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with arbitration, appellate practice, and trial logistics coordination preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and travel as required to support case needs.
