Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and prepare complex transaction documents for structured finance deals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage transaction lifecycles, including tracking deadlines, organizing communications, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Review and file UCC financing statements, analyze lien searches, and collaborate with external vendors for transactional support.
  • Prepare and distribute signature pages, compile finalized documents, and create detailed closing binders.
  • Utilize legal and transactional software tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure effective transactional support and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to meeting billable hour targets while maintaining cost-effective practices and high-quality outcomes.
  • Handle additional assignments as required, including potential overtime and travel commitments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience, with 10 years preferred, in structured finance or related areas.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, iManage, LexisNexis/Westlaw, and transactional software tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of transactional lifecycles and structured finance procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex transactional processes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel as required by the role.
  • Experience with timekeeping and expense reporting applications is advantageous.
