Job Description
Overview
- Provide administrative support within the accounting department of a real estate organization.
- Handle daily tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management.
- Assist with sending and receiving mail and packages, including FedEx and Post Office runs.
- Enter vendor invoices into SAGE Timberline software, with training provided.
- Draft and edit documents and emails using Word and other software.
- Support audits by pulling expense and vendor-related documents.
- Collaborate with accounting, financial, and operational leadership on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint projects.
- Work fully onsite Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document organization.
- Manage mail and package logistics, including Post Office and FedEx activities.
- Enter vendor invoices into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Draft and edit professional documents and emails for internal and external communication.
- Support audit processes by retrieving and organizing necessary documentation.
- Provide assistance with basic accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger reviews.
- Collaborate on projects involving Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support leadership.
- Maintain a paper-oriented environment with attention to detail and organization.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative or accounting support roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in a paper-oriented environment and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to learn and use SAGE Timberline accounting software effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in document management.
- Willingness to work fully onsite during specified hours.
