Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform vascular and cardiac interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and execute patient treatment plans.
  • Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care, monitoring patient conditions and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies during procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance procedural outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor junior technologists, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative practices and techniques in interventional radiology.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; completion of a relevant accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiac technology.
  • Certified in Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), or equivalent certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider, valid at the time of hire.
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in interventional procedures; 1-2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment and performing advanced procedures.
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in interventional radiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
