Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform vascular and cardiac interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and execute patient treatment plans.
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care, monitoring patient conditions and addressing concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies during procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance procedural outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Train and mentor junior technologists, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Contribute to the development of innovative practices and techniques in interventional radiology.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; completion of a relevant accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiac technology.
- Certified in Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), or equivalent certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider, valid at the time of hire.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in interventional procedures; 1-2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment and performing advanced procedures.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in interventional radiology.
