Overview

  • Provide exceptional dental care to patients, ensuring optimal oral health and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Comfort patients during dental procedures and maintain a calming atmosphere.
  • Conduct oral health screenings and educate patients on dental hygiene.
  • Perform X-rays, impressions, and radiograph development with accuracy.
  • Sterilize dental instruments and ensure equipment readiness.
  • Remove plaque and tartar, clean teeth, and prevent gum disease.
  • Collect and analyze medical and dental histories for patient care.
  • Assist dentists in all aspects of dental procedures and patient management.
  • Promote overall dental well-being through patient education and care.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.
  • Valid GDC Registration and dental hygienist certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of dental hygiene experience; 4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in conducting dental screenings and performing X-rays.
  • Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and patient education.
  • Ability to maintain a sterile and safe environment for procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and comforting bedside manner.
