Overview

  • Lead and manage surgical services operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Oversee a team of healthcare professionals, fostering collaboration and a patient-centered care culture.
  • Develop and implement programs to monitor and improve nursing care quality and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure effective coordination of patient care across departments and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain compliance with legal, accrediting, and regulatory agency requirements for surgical services.
  • Provide leadership in achieving hospital-wide improvement goals related to patient safety and service excellence.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring availability of necessary equipment and supplies for surgical services.
  • Participate in patient rounding, addressing needs proactively to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide leadership and accountability for safe, quality patient care delivery in surgical services.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care operating room leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
