Job Description

Overview

  • Manage the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service to residents.
  • Oversee property inspections, contractor scheduling, and maintenance activities to uphold quality standards.
  • Handle leasing processes, rent collection, and lease enforcement while addressing resident concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records for properties and residents, ensuring compliance with housing programs and recertification requirements.
  • Supervise HUB operations in the absence of the Property Manager, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to property management activities.
  • Support financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management for the property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with standards and identify maintenance needs.
  • Schedule and oversee contractor work, ensuring timely and quality completion of projects.
  • Assign work orders and monitor maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage leasing activities, including tenant onboarding, lease enforcement, and rent collection.
  • Address resident complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain detailed property and resident files, ensuring compliance with housing programs.
  • Perform financial analysis and budgeting tasks to support effective property management.
  • Supervise HUB operations during the Property Manager’s absence, ensuring continuity of services.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent education; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Experience with Tax Credit, Housing Choice Voucher, and Affordable Housing programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry software systems, such as Yardi, is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
