Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and resource utilization.
  • Monitor and evaluate laboratory performance metrics to ensure service quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate laboratory services into broader healthcare delivery systems.
  • Implement and enforce laboratory policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Train and supervise laboratory staff, promoting adherence to best practices and professional standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related science field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) mandatory.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and supervisory experience.
  • Advanced skills in communication, problem-solving, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in managing laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and diverse settings.
