Job Description

Overview

  • Provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.
  • Contribute to shaping clinical workflows and standards in a startup environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain advanced cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and precise execution.
  • Participate in accreditation readiness activities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities as the center scales operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and radiation safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Scrub and circulate for various cardiovascular procedures, including PCI and electrophysiology studies.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instrument trays, and procedural supplies.
  • Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging and recording systems.
  • Monitor and document patient hemodynamics during procedures.
  • Assist in vascular access site management and post-procedure monitoring.
  • Participate in developing procedural protocols and clinical workflows.
  • Support accreditation readiness and compliance preparation activities.
  • Contribute to staff education and cross-training efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
  • RCIS or CVT credential, or eligibility to sit for the exam within six months.
  • Minimum of one year of cath lab experience; two years preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Proficiency with cath lab imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording systems.
  • Experience in a startup or early-stage ASC environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Florida ASC regulations and accreditation standards preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
