Overview

  • Lead strategic technology initiatives to modernize systems and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating business needs into technological solutions.
  • Oversee a team of developers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality delivery.
  • Drive innovation by introducing AI and expanding customer-facing products.
  • Architect and govern cloud environments, ensuring data security and reliability.
  • Provide white-glove support to staff and leadership, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Mentor team members and establish clear ownership models for efficient issue resolution.
  • Operate in a hybrid work environment with periodic travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead the migration from legacy hosting to modern cloud environments.
  • Oversee complex ETL processes to transform operational data into actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with vendors to implement solutions that meet organizational standards.
  • Provide mentorship and support to a team of developers and administrative staff.
  • Act as the final escalation point for technical issues, ensuring resolution and documentation.
  • Monitor cybersecurity and operational reports to maintain system integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in strategic positions.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud architecture and M365 global administration.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and developer workflows.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and holding MSSPs accountable.
  • Knowledge of modern networking concepts and E-Rate program guidelines.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and creative problem-solving skills.
