Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Support capital raising activities, including HoldCo/Mezzanine financing and non-recourse project financing for renewable energy projects.
- Coordinate internal and external teams to develop transaction structures and ensure successful financial closings.
- Review and maintain detailed financial analysis and valuation models for economic evaluation of projects.
- Develop and implement hedging and risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financing structures and support portfolio growth.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on transaction goals.
- Maintain valuation methodologies and oversee valuation at the project and portfolio levels.
- Assist in deal execution, ensuring timely and successful financial closings under tight timeframes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles; 6 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction management.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy financing, including tax equity and non-recourse project financing.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to provide strategic recommendations and optimize financing structures.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial analysis.
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
