Overview

  • Contribute to advancing renewable energy solutions through financial analysis and transaction management in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Support capital raising efforts for energy storage and distributed generation projects, ensuring optimal financing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes and achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain robust valuation methodologies to support portfolio growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to optimize financing structures and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support capital raising activities, including HoldCo/Mezzanine financing and non-recourse project financing for renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external teams to develop transaction structures and ensure successful financial closings.
  • Review and maintain detailed financial analysis and valuation models for economic evaluation of projects.
  • Develop and implement hedging and risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financing structures and support portfolio growth.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on transaction goals.
  • Maintain valuation methodologies and oversee valuation at the project and portfolio levels.
  • Assist in deal execution, ensuring timely and successful financial closings under tight timeframes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles; 6 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction management.
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy financing, including tax equity and non-recourse project financing.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations and optimize financing structures.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial analysis.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
