Job Description
Overview
- Process electronic payments, including wire transfers and ACH transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and banking regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external sources to verify payment instructions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of transactions while adhering to industry best practices.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support audit requirements and enhance operational transparency.
- Utilize treasury workstation and bank software for efficient payment processing and management.
- Ensure compliance with NACHA rules, OFAC regulations, and internal security controls.
- Support the VP of Treasury in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Initiate and process domestic wire transfers and ACH payments based on priority levels.
- Prepare and upload ACH payment files for interest posting and reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or failures promptly.
- Work with internal departments and external sources to verify payment instructions.
- Generate and maintain payment reports to support audits and compliance checks.
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations and internal control practices.
- Provide administrative support to the Treasury department as needed.
- Utilize treasury management systems such as Kyriba and banking platforms effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, treasury, or payment operations.
- Proficiency in treasury workstation and bank software, such as Kyriba and Cash Pro Online.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in payment processing tasks.
- Knowledge of NACHA rules, OFAC regulations, and internal security controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve team objectives.
