Job Description

Overview

  • Lead healthcare-focused architectural and engineering projects ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality construction drawings and specifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams.
  • Develop detailed work plans and allocate resources effectively across project stages.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project performance and financials, forecasting revenue accurately.
  • Contribute to strategic and business development initiatives within the organization.
  • Promote evidence-based design principles to create healing environments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Negotiate and manage project scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead quality assurance and control procedures for architectural and engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and authorities to address constructability issues.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Develop and monitor detailed work plans for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure alignment with contractual obligations and client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
  • Forecast project revenue and monitor financial performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) required.
  • 10-15 years of experience in healthcare architectural or engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in architectural and engineering systems design and presentation.
  • Understanding of M&E and structural building systems, permits, and codes.
  • Registered with a relevant professional association is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and resourcefulness skills.
  • Experience in strategic development, business development, and client management.
  • Knowledge of project accounting and revenue forecasting.
