Project Architect

Overview

• Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for residential and commercial projects.
• Utilize Revit software for drafting, design development, and construction documentation phases.
• Engage with clients to understand project goals and present design proposals effectively.
• Coordinate with planning boards and participate in public meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the architectural team through mentorship and collaboration.
• Work in a hybrid environment with flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications using Revit software.
• Coordinate with project managers and job captains to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Review and approve design changes and construction documents.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project strategies and solutions.
• Ensure all projects align with the firm's quality standards and client expectations.
• Contribute to the firm's portfolio by delivering high-quality architectural solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design; 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit software; experience with wood frame and podium construction.
• Strong knowledge of design development and construction documentation phases.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Experience with residential and commercial projects; hotel design experience is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
