Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives for a dynamic organization.
  • Collaborate with C-Suite executives and partners on complex accounting challenges.
  • Provide expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offering readiness.
  • Design and implement business process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and review financial models, forecasts, and SEC filings.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and external auditors, ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in recruiting initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the organization through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and SEC filings.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Implement business process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new engagements.
  • Provide real-time feedback and guidance to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in recruiting initiatives to build a strong team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to contribute to organizational success.
