Overview

  • Lead operations for a dynamic insurance advisory firm, driving client retention and business development strategies.
  • Oversee and manage a team of Client Service Managers, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and achieve growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR to support employee engagement and access to wellness resources.
  • Foster strategic relationships with vendors and carriers to maximize organizational capabilities.
  • Champion company culture through planning and participation in team-building events.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all operational activities.
  • Drive innovation in client service processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, delivering impactful solutions and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide leadership and accountability to support client retention and new sales initiatives.
  • Train, manage, and lead Client Service Managers to achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee operational processes for implementation, renewal, and service delivery using CRM tools.
  • Develop and manage annual Client Service Playbooks to streamline deliverables.
  • Support HR in providing educational resources and wellness tools to employees.
  • Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships to enhance client outcomes and organizational capabilities.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members to strengthen human capital.
  • Support client service teams with renewal strategies and execution plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of new carriers, TPAs, and technology vendors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management; 25 years preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving organizational success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-managed and autonomous, capable of exercising independent judgment.
  • Experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
