Financial Systems Manager

Overview

• Manage financial systems operations, focusing on FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting using advanced EPM platforms.
• Act as the primary system owner for FP&A, PC, and FC users, ensuring seamless system functionality.
• Support monthly management reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery for dashboards and reporting views.
• Maintain cost allocation models, drivers, assumptions, metadata, hierarchies, and reporting cubes for efficient planning and analysis.
• Monitor and reconcile managerial data loads and integrations, resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Provide hands-on user support, routine maintenance, controlled changes, and documentation for system processes.
• Contribute to the decommissioning of legacy systems, ensuring smooth transitions to new platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee daily operations and support of OneStream for FP&A, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of actuals versus forecast/budget data.
• Maintain and optimize financial systems configurations, including metadata, hierarchies, and reporting cubes.
• Resolve data issues and discrepancies before delivering managerial reports.
• Provide user support and training for finance systems, ensuring effective utilization.
• Document system processes and changes to maintain operational integrity.
• Collaborate with finance teams to align system functionalities with business needs.
• Lead initiatives for system migrations and decommissioning of outdated platforms.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or finance systems.
• Proficiency in OneStream or comparable EPM platforms, such as Hyperion.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Power Query, and data querying techniques.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, managerial reporting, and FP&A processes.
• Experience managing monthly reporting cycles and ensuring data accuracy.
• Expertise in system migrations and decommissioning legacy platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
