Overview

  • Drive cybersecurity initiatives to protect the client’s digital infrastructure and ensure operational continuity.
  • Implement advanced security measures to mitigate risks and enhance system defenses.
  • Conduct detailed investigations of security incidents for prompt resolution and prevention.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to create and enforce robust security policies.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to strengthen defenses.
  • Provide strategic guidance on security practices to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Work remotely with occasional onsite presence for critical operational needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and optimize security systems, including firewalls, antivirus software, and monitoring tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify threats.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Develop detailed security reports and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams during critical security events for effective resolution.
  • Configure and audit network and system security settings to maintain optimal protection.
  • Perform malware analysis and research exploit techniques to proactively address threats.
  • Enhance security processes to align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, CyberArk, and SIEM tools.
  • Skilled in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and VB for automation.
  • Preferred certifications include GIAC GSEC, PCNSE, and OSCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for emergency calls and occasional travel as required.
