Data Architect

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement enterprise data models to support analytics and operational reporting across the organization.
• Define and enforce data modeling best practices within advanced architectural frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Translate logical data models into optimized physical models using advanced tools and techniques.
• Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Guide ETL/ELT strategies to optimize data integrity and system performance.
• Establish and document standards for data modeling and engineering practices.
• Optimize and maintain existing data models to enhance performance and scalability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with 7+ years of experience in data architecture and modeling.
• Proficiency in data modeling methodologies, including Dimensional and Data Vault approaches.
• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and advanced architecture frameworks.
• Strong experience with Azure-based data solutions and modern data platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data governance tools.
• Preferred experience with Data Vault implementation and BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
