Overview

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting standards in benefits administration.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, assess service quality, and optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Provide leadership in health & welfare, retirement, and leave policies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with senior leadership to align benefits strategies with organizational goals and workforce priorities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and administer health & welfare, retirement, and time-off benefit programs to meet organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in benefits administration and reporting.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and cost efficiency.
- Lead annual benefit renewals, negotiating vendor contracts and optimizing plan designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design competitive and innovative benefits plans.
- Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction through benefits.
- Monitor and improve the operational efficiency of benefits administration processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits administration; 10 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in vendor negotiations, 401K management, and health & welfare plans.
- Experience managing leave of absence policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
- Proficiency in Workday and other HR systems is highly desirable.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on expertise in benefits program management.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work arrangement, balancing remote and in-office tasks.
