Business Analyst

Overview

• Serve as a critical link between technology teams, business stakeholders, and end-users, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
• Analyze project requirements, process flows, and potential business solutions to deliver strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
• Provide comprehensive documentation, including gap analysis, business intelligence, and project initiation documents for robust project management.
• Conduct in-depth research and market intelligence to recommend best practices and drive strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business methods, identify gaps, and document detailed requirements.
• Participate in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements and articulate solutions effectively.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends in business intelligence technologies and analysis techniques.
• Work independently under the guidance of project leaders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform detailed analysis related to project requirements, process flows, and business solutions.
• Provide essential documentation, including business intelligence and gap analysis, to support project management.
• Lead requirements elicitation workshops and facilitate meetings using various elicitation techniques.
• Communicate effectively with users, team members, and management to ensure project alignment.
• Summarize research and recommendations for management review to drive strategic decisions.
• Document detailed requirements, use cases, and process flow diagrams, including swim lane diagrams.
• Participate in project lifecycle activities, engaging with stakeholders and managing appropriate documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in Science or Business.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis within professional services, financial services, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools, MS Office products, and documentation techniques.
• Strong experience in gathering requirements through interviews, workshops, and modeling processes.
• Ability to write detailed, actionable requirements and functional specifications effectively.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence reporting and analysis techniques.
• Certification in Business Analysis preferred to demonstrate expertise.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing work to critical project timelines.
