Overview
- Lead structured financing strategies, including asset-backed securitizations and warehouse lending facilities, to optimize funding and liquidity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate loan data, reporting, and collateral integrity for financing initiatives.
- Engage with lenders, institutional investors, and senior leadership to drive impactful capital markets initiatives.
- Analyze loan portfolio performance and credit trends to inform strategic financing decisions.
- Prepare investor and lender reporting packages, including performance updates and deal-related materials.
- Support diligence, legal documentation, and closing processes for new financings and amendments.
- Contribute to optimizing capital strategy by evaluating new funding sources and improving cost of capital.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage relationships with banks, institutional investors, and financing partners to ensure effective collaboration.
- Monitor borrowing base performance, advance rates, eligibility criteria, and covenant compliance across warehouse lines.
- Partner with Credit, FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams to maintain accurate financial data and reporting.
- Analyze credit trends and funding utilization to support strategic financing decisions.
- Prepare detailed reporting packages for investors and lenders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assist in legal documentation and closing processes for financing transactions and amendments.
- Evaluate and implement strategies to optimize capital structure and funding sources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or corporate finance.
- Proficiency in asset-backed securitizations, warehouse lending, and structured credit products.
- Strong understanding of loan portfolios, collateral performance, and credit risk metrics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills for complex analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with cross-functional exposure.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with external financing partners.
