Overview

  • The Senior Accounting Analyst oversees fund finance operations, ensuring capital activity, deal funding, and portfolio data integrity for high-quality financial insights.
  • Collaborates with internal investment teams and external fund administrators to deliver operational excellence and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supports audits, valuations, and cash planning in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Contributes to month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in fund net asset values and expenses.
  • Coordinates capital calls and distributions, including carried interest calculations and investor tax materials.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support accounting, tax, and financial reporting for managed funds, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Review fund expenses and accruals, contributing to the month-end close process.
  • Coordinate audits and tax processes with fund administrators and internal teams.
  • Prepare and review audited financial statements and investor tax materials.
  • Oversee capital calls and distributions, ensuring accuracy in carried interest calculations.
  • Support valuation processes by reviewing quarterly valuations and portfolio models.
  • Collaborate on regulatory reporting and cross-functional projects with investment, finance, and operations teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or industry roles; 4 years preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred for advanced expertise.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, or alternative asset management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies is a plus.
