Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage daily operations of the CVICU, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff performance.
• Develop and implement schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and resource availability.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes.
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies within the CVICU.
• Act as a clinical expert, providing guidance to nursing staff in complex cases.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Nurse Manager role; 5 years preferred.
• Current CPR certification and other department-specific certifications are required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and improve performance.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is essential.
